Therapy for Teens & Young Adults
Online therapy for teens, college students, and young adults across CaliforniaÂ
Growing into yourself
High school and early adulthood can hold a lot all at once.
You might be navigating:
-
Expectations from family, school, peers, and culture
-
Changing friendships and relationships
-
Pressure to succeed, fit in, or have a plan for the future
And all of this while you're still discovering who you are.
Sometimes anxiety, past experiences, or the ways you've learned to cope can make it harder to know what you need or trust what you're feeling.
Therapy can be a place where you don't have to perform, pretend, or have everything figured out.
You may be wondering:
Who am I outside of other people's expectations?
What matters to me?
How do I know when a relationship is healthy for me?
What do I need, and how do I communicate it?
How can I trust myself when I'm uncertain?
What kind of life do I want to create?
You don't need to have the answers.
Part of growing into yourself is having the freedom to explore them.

What we can work on
You might be navigating:
-
Anxiety, overwhelm, perfectionism
-
Trauma and difficult past experiences
-
Friendships, dating, and relationship patterns
-
Family dynamics, boundaries, and independence
-
Identity, self-worth, and belonging
-
College, career, and life transitions
-
Emotional regulation and coping skills
We can explore what's happening beneath the surface, understand patterns that may no longer be helpful, and develop new ways of responding to life's challenges.
Becoming yourself isn't about having all the answers. It's about having space to explore the questions.
Â
You don't have to figure it all out alone.
Whether you're navigating something difficult or simply wanting to understand yourself better, therapy can offer space to explore what's happening and what comes next.
What therapy with me feels like
My approach is warm, relational, trauma-conscious, and collaborative.
I'm not here to tell you who to be or what your life needs to look like.
Together, we can make sense of what you're experiencing, explore what matters to you, and build practical skills for navigating difficult emotions, relationships, and transitions.
Sometimes that means learning coping skills for anxiety and overwhelming emotions, finding new ways to communicate and navigate relationships, or understanding how your thoughts and feelings influence each other. Other times, we might explore how past experiences affect you today, work through difficult memories, or get to know the different parts of yourself that may want different things.
I also use approaches like Brainspotting to help process difficult experiences, and I'm continuing my training in EMDR.
Together, we can figure out what feels most helpful for you.
There's room for curiosity, uncertainty, humor, and figuring things out as we go.
Therapy approaches I use
My work is informed by:
- attachment and relational perspectives
- somatic (body-based) awareness
- trauma-conscious approaches
- parts-informed work
- nervous system awareness
If you’re someone who likes knowing the formal approaches behind the work, my therapy is also informed by EMDR, Brainspotting Level I, DBT, CBT, and Motivational Interviewing tools when useful.
